This costume was originally planned for Fanime 2008, though me and PikminLink spent the whole con in our hotel room working on both of our costumes.
This was very interesting to make! I had never made a jumpsuit before so PL helped me figure out how to make a pattern (by taking an old shirt and pair of pants of mine). She also satin stitched all the gold on since she has this sweet sewing machine that can do embroidery. She also taught me how to make cool shoe covers too! Everything else was done by me, the cutting, sewing, pattern drafting, designing, etc. I really like this costume~ I can't wait to finish the cape to go with it!
